Michael J. Cudahy was a visionary businessman and philanthropist whose contributions helped shape the modern Milwaukee lakefront as we know it today. His passion, foresight, and dedication to the city left an indelible mark, with Discovery World standing as one of his most enduring legacies.
To honor his pivotal role in the conception, development, and construction of Milwaukee’s lakefront—and specifically Discovery World—we’ve created an experience that brings his story to life. This series of four interactive exhibits, called Michael J. Cudahy’s Footprints, invites guests to explore the “why” behind the design decisions that shaped Discovery World and learn how you, too, can think like Mike.
