• Discovery World is located off of Lincoln Memorial Drive on Milwaukee’s Lakefront between the Milwaukee Art Museum and Summerfest Grounds.

• 🚌 By Bus The closest bus stops to Discovery World include stops at (1) The Couture on Michigan Avenue and Lincoln Memorial Drive, and the intersection of (2) E. Michigan Street and Lincoln Memorial Drive.

• 🚋 By Streetcar The Hop’s Lakefront Station serves Discovery World and is just a short walk from our entrance.

• 🚲 By Bike A Bublr Bikes station is located directly outside Discovery World.

• All tickets are non-refundable and non-returnable. Tickets purchased online guarantee entry. Walk-Up tickets are available at time of entry, if capacity limits allow.
• For guests’ safety, all children must be accompanied by a chaperone age 16 or older.
• It’s no secret that Discovery World is busier on certain days of the year. On days there is greater demand, dynamic admission pricing applies to help provide the best guest experience and help us manage guest flow.
• Buy online and save! Full-price admission is discounted when you buy tickets via our website.

Your family qualifies for discounted admission or a discounted membership if you are a Wisconsin resident that participates in Wisconsin Works, WIC, My WI Childcare, Wisconsin Quest, FoodShare, BadgerCare, or Medicaid. Must present a Wisconsin EBT card, along with a valid ID. These discounts are only available for purchase in-person at the Admissions Desk. 

• $7 Access Admission: Families who qualify will receive admission at $7/person for up to five (5) individuals.
• $50 Family Access Membership: Families who qualify can purchase a Family Level membership at a discounted rate.

Family Access Membership supported by Johnson Financial Group. 

• Discovery World has an underground, heated parking garage that includes 6 accessible parking spaces, as well as an upper surface lot.
• Parking fees apply for both the garage and surface lot spaces. Rates subject to change.
• Additional parking can be found at various lots & metered street spots located on Milwaukee’s lakefront.

Parking is managed by Secure Parking USA.

Underground Parking Garage Rates:

• 1 Hour = $10
• 2 Hours = $13
• 3 Hours = $15
• 4 Hours = $17
• 5+ Hours = $22
• Special Events = As Posted

Discovery World Members receive a discount on underground parking fees during regular museum hours. The garage height limit is 6 ft, 8 in. 

Upper Surface Lot Rates (Scan to Pay):

• 1 Hour = $10
• 2 Hours = $15
• 3 Hours = $20
• 4 Hours = $25
• 5+ Hours = $30
• Special Events = As Posted

• Grab a snack at Downtown Kitchen Express by Bartolotta’s, the café at Discovery World, which offers a variety of grab and go items including a selection of favorites such as pizza, hot dogs, pretzels, salads, sandwiches, and more.
• Open from 10:00am-3:00pm on days Discovery World is open, unless otherwise stated.
• Discovery World Members receive a 10% discount on their Downtown Kitchen Express purchases.

Downtown Kitchen Express by Bartolotta’s is managed by The Bartolotta Restaurants.
