Touch Tank Ambassador

Facilitate animal contact at the aquarium’s live-animal touch pools while providing a safe environment for guests. These volunteers encourage guests to explore live animals such as lake sturgeon and slipper lobsters through interactive engagements.

Qualifications

Minimum age 14 years old or 12-14 with an adult. Online background check for those over 18 and Liability Waiver required.

Training

Training and background materials provided. Touch Tank Ambassadors can be seated or stand.

Scheduling

Minimum 1 shift per month for a total of 28 hours (8 shifts). Shifts available Wednesday-Sunday 9:00am-12:30pm or 12:30pm-4:00pm.
