Growing up a curious inventor spending weekends tinkering with tools in his grandpa’s garage ultimately built Michael J. Cudahy into one of Milwaukee’s most well-known philanthropists. His love of endless exploration ignited Discovery World’s growth into Wisconsin’s top science experience inspiring generations to discover the wonders of science – a Michael J. Cudahy legacy.
“Mike’s creativity and tenacity embodied what Discovery World has become,” said Terence McMahon, a former Discovery World chairman, in a news release. “I’ll always remember the planning stages of the museum and how Mike’s constant message that ‘we weren’t dreaming big enough’ ultimately led to this beautiful facility where we inspire community leaders every single day.”
