Join our celebration of all things science fiction and embark on an educational odyssey at Discovery World’s Sci-Fi Family Day!

Dive into a universe of fun as you interact with droids, build epic Lego creations, and learn all about tabletop and board games. Don’t miss out on our costume contest, where you can dress up as your favorite sci-fi character! This exciting event is your chance to explore the fascinating intersection of STEM with the iconic characters and creations from your favorite sci-fi sagas. Perfect for fans of all ages, this is a day you won’t want to miss!

Activities and Participants
– SPECIAL Mermaid Echo performances with the City of Milwaukee at 11:00 am and 12:30 pm
– Game Room in the Pilot House offered by the Board Game Barrister & the Midwinter Gaming Convention
– Brand new droid experiences from the R2-MKE: SE WI Droid Builders in the Pavilion
– Exclusive projects in the Kohl’s Design It! Lab
– Science Lab: Space Age Cinema. A workshop on the science behind special effects in movies from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm and from 12:45 pm – 2:00 pm.
– Incredible photo opportunities with the Wisconsin Garrison-501st Legion and Costumers With A Cause
– Food trucks, costume contests, and more!
