School Group Facilitator

Do you enjoy working with children? Are you looking to gain experience managing groups? Help Discovery World’s education staff as a School Group Facilitator! With up to 700 students coming through our doors in a day, we are looking for enthusiastic and dependable people to help with welcoming, orientating, wayfinding, and lunch transitions for students, teachers, and chaperones during field trips. You will help staff give groups a positive experience during their time at Discovery World.

  • This position includes periods of standing/walking but may be seated for portions of the shift.
  • Online background check and Liability Waiver and Confidentiality Policy signature required.
  • Phone interview required.

Qualifications

Minimum age 18 years old. 

Training

Training provided. 

Scheduling

Minimum 1 shift per month for a total of 28 hours (7 shifts). Ideal candidates would be available to help 1 day a week. Shifts available during the school year, Wednesday-Friday, 9:00am-1:00pm. Depending on the amount of school groups, shift may end earlier.
