Exhibit Ambassador

Do you love music, robots or freshwater sustainability? Would you like to share your passion with others? Exhibit Ambassadors choose one exhibit in Discovery World on which to focus. They then share knowledge, facilitate guest interactions with the exhibit and help ignite the spark of curiosity in visitors! This role is perfect for someone who has started out in one of our more structured roles such as a Touch Tank Ambassador and would like to branch out. Not all of our exhibits have docent-based training materials. If you would like to expand on our training materials, please see the Exhibit Docent Research position description. Exhibit Ambassadors will need to move around, some exhibits may have a stationary seated option.

Qualifications

Minimum age 14 years old. Online background check for those over 18 and Liability Waiver and Confidentiality Policy required.

Training

Training and background materials provided.

Scheduling

Minimum 1 shift per month for a total of 28 hours (8 shifts). Shifts available Wednesday-Sunday, 9:00am-12:30pm or 12:30pm-4:00pm.
